Wow, what an exciting Fall Networking and Marketing Season. We have introduced our exclusive Cupa Cabana Espresso Bar to thousands of new fans from New York City to Philadelphia. More importantly we were able to support a few outstanding causes. We would just like to take a moment and thank some of the folks responsible for making these events happen: AFR Furniture, ISES New York Metro Chapter, BizBash, Canoe Brook Country Club, and The Ralph Lauren Pink Polo Fund. Here is a brief recap!

New Jersey Club Managers Benefit

October 23, 2012

This benefit, held at the beautiful Canoe Brook Country Club in Short Hills (NJ), was an elegant occasion for the New Jersey Club Foundation. Cupa Cabana was proud to donate our time  to serve those in attendance Espresso & Coffee.

The NJ Club Foundation was able to raise money for some very worthy causes. Below is a list of some of the Organizations that will benefit from the efforts.

  •  St Barnabus Burn Foundation – The only state-certified burn treatment facility in New Jersey, and one of the largest in North America providing treatment for adult and pediatric patients.
  • The First Tee – Impacting lives of young people by providing educational programs that build character, instill life-enhancing values and promote healthy choices through the game of golf.
  • The Food Bank of Monmouth and Ocean Counties – Serves over 260 pantries, soup kitchens and other feeding programs with almost 7 million pounds of food distributed annually, working to eliminate hunger by providing emergency food, skills training, outreach programs and advocacy for families in need.
  • Community Food Bank of New Jersey – Fights hunger and poverty by distributing food and groceries, providing education and training and developing new programs to help people with low incomes meet their basic needs.

Ralph Lauren Pink Pony Day

October 25, 2012

Hundreds of Ralph Lauren employees, friends, and family took part in Polo’s Pink Pony Day benefiting The Pink Pony Fund. The Pink Pony Fund is Ralph Lauren’s worldwide initiative in the fight against cancer. Its mission is to reduce disparities in cancer care in medically underserved communities and ensure that treatment is available at an earlier, more curable stage.

The day began with an organized walk starting at Grand Army Plaza in Central Park. After the walk all proceeded back to Ralph Lauren’s Headquarters to partake in  various activities, games, food and fun. Our espresso bar was provided much needed caffeine and accompanied the fundraising Bake Sale! Our employees also had a blast and were happy to be able to contribute to the festivities.

AFR’s Passport to Design – Philadelphia

November 8, 2012

This year’s AFR Furniture Event was held at 2424 Studios located in Philadelphia. We loved the venue. The perfect modern space with the versatility for any event. As always AFR Furniture put together a great night showcasing a number of industry styles and vendors. AFR will meet every event furniture need. Their vast product lines feature ultra-modern styles as well as more natural options. The Cupa Cabana espresso bar was such a hit that we were featured in the above recap.

AFR’s Passport to Design –  New York

November 19, 2012

Our last networking event of the Fall was Passport to Design aboard the Hornblower. The Hornblower is an impressive luxury liner hosting events while cruising the Hudson and checking out some of the famous sites and views along the way. The staff and crew of the ship were extremely courteous and helpful. Vendors provided services such as desert, photo booths and various entertainment offerings such as a three piece band and DJ. Our complimentary espresso bar was located on the 3rd level of the ship which also acted as an after dinner lounge. Everyone in attendance seemed awed throughout the evening.
