Cupa Cabana provided the coffee for Sony to give away along with a copy of the Wall Street Journal to promote their newest release of the Sony Wireless Reader. The event took place at Universal News Stand in Times Square and was handled by Race Point Group. The actors were dressed like olde-timey newspaper kids.
Cupa Cabana brewed 600 gallons of their special roast (100 gallons a
day for 6 consecutive days) for distribution at 6 locations in
Manhattan by TrashTalkFCM for the client Chinet's "Comfort Cup" new
product campaign.

Cupa Cabana was contracted by Edward Ehrbar , Inc., a heavy equipment company, to provide a coffee bar and danishes for their event introducing the Komatsu Hybrid Excavator to the U.S. The media event showcased the Hybrid's "green" qualities such as a 20 - 40% reduction in fuel use and reduced exhaust emmissions from advanced diesel and electrical technologies already produced by Komatsu and in service in other parts of the world. They showcased this machine Dec. 02, 2009 at the Chelsea Pier jobsite of the NY State Belt Parkway Improvement Project. For more information on this, visit ehrbar.com.
