Few of us will ever coordinate anything with as many moving parts as our own wedding. That’s not to make an already daunting endeavor feel impossible. Rather, it’s a pat on the shoulder.

After months of plotting, and scouting, and check-writing, it can be easy to lose sight of all that you’ve accomplished and why you’re doing it. So let this be a small reminder of just that and a little encouragement to keep on keeping on. You’re in the homestretch.

We count ourselves as fortunate to have been a part of so many weddings of every shape and size. The one constant among them: Something’s gonna go wrong. Again, we say this not to unnerve you but to prepare you for the inevitable. Acknowledge it now and let it go because, you know what else? Every one of those weddings turned out just fine. If anything, the hiccup became a quirky memory that’s going to be laughed over for years to come.

There’s something else you can do to safeguard yourself. As tenacious as you may normally be about scrutinizing online reviews, make a job of it now.

The vendors added at the 11th hour, like, say, the coffee bar that seemed like a good idea from the start, but only became a possibility once all the critical stuff in the budget was covered, typically undergo the least amount of scrutiny because, well, time is in short supply.

A glowing online review isn’t a guarantee that everything’s going to go according to plan. But it is peace of mind—especially if there are tens of them spread across various platforms, all stressing the same keywords: prompt, capable, courteous, considerate, reliable.

This probably won’t be much of a surprise, considering where you’re reading this post, but we’re particularly proud of what our reviewers are saying about us. No matter how many times we’re invited to participate in someone’s wedding, we treat the occasion like it’s our one and only.

Now, you probably read that and thought, Yeah, right. Totally understandable. We’d do the same in your position, honestly. Which is why we prefer to leave the bragging to our former customers and focus on the task at hand.
