Our Winter Coffee Specialty Recipe: Peppermint Mocha

Ingredients

  • 1/2 cup semisweet chocolate chips or 4 oz chopped dark chocolate
  • 1/2 cup milk
  • 1/2 tsp vanilla extract
  • 1/2 tsp peppermint extract
  • 1 1/2 cups freshly brewed coffee
  • whipped cream

Step-by-step

Break out a small saucepan and get ready for action. Mix chocolate chips, vanilla extract, milk and, (the magic ingredient) peppermint extract; heat on medium heat. Continue to stir frequently until your mixture appears to take on a smooth consistency.

Brew up your choice of coffee and split up your servings. Once the joe is poured, combine your mixture into each mug, about 1/3 cup each.

Stir up your drink and top everything off with whipped cream. Feeling adventurous? Add a drizzle of chocolate syrup on top!

Serve up & enjoy.
